I just looked at your link.. it says it's foil, then polymer layers(which could be almost anything) and then rubberized asphalt. My question would be about odor. You should try and leave some in a plastic or metal box in the sun for a day and see what happens smell-wise.. I'd hate to do the whole van and then find out I can't stand being in it anymore. If it passes that test, move on to sound deadening testing...
