Oh, I don't have the equipment for a leak down test. I may try a shop near by. I am not sure if I can find a shop willing to do such a small job for me. Believe me, the Bay Area is not like Ohio or Texas. If the shop doesn't know you they won't do things like this, too small, for you. The shop I know well is not specialized in old Vanagons. They will not be interested in doing it either. My cousin's shop is 40 miles away. I do not want to bother him really.
