Subject:      1980 AFM for 80 US model westy(Air Cooled)

I am having a big problem with the ability to idle my
engine,(U.S. model 2.0L 1980 air cooled) if I keep it
just above idle it will run, let off on it and it will
die. It's hard to set the timing with it like that. I
think it's the AFM, any suggestions??? Gotta get me
one of those remote start buttons, can't run fast
enough to make it to the back before the engine
quits..  Phil
