I recently went through a battery "adventure," and ended up with a Group 41
battery from Pep Boys that fits fine.  I was about to try to replace the
aux. battery with one that fits better when I found out that there are
basically no aux batteries that fit in the cavity perfectly.  By the way, I
did manage to change the battery terminal adapter so that the protective cap
would fit.

As you can see, the battery fits with a little room to

It easily lifts out with its handle.
