First, Always, Always, Always, Always, replace races with bearings. It's little work, and with proper maintenance and greasing, they will then last virtually forever. Replacement is easy. The hub has cutouts in it that allow you to get behind each race with a drift punch. Use the old race to install the new ones (use them in the normally installed orientation). The old races can be easily removed after seating the new ones, since the 'shoulder' of the old race creates a large 'ledge' to seat the drift punch against. Just be careful not to scratch the new races. Really quite simple. Don't forget to replace the grease seal (inside) when you do it. The easy way to remove these is to place the hub back on the spindle (after removing the bearings), screw the nut back on a couple turns, and pull the hub outwards, catching the seal on the spindle nut. That's if it didn't pop out when you pulled the hub to replace the bearings.
