Propaganda, at its best... The media, supporting the oil companies.

The prices in those european countries, include two to three dollars in taxes, that they pay right at the pump, but they are not taxed through the back door. US taxpayers subsidize the oil industry here in the US, so we pay more than that two or three dollars per gallon in all kinds of hidden taxes, when its all added up.

I don't wish to incite a gas price war on the list, but we must not fall for the notion that just because some other country pays a lot for gas, that its acceptable, and that we should not stand against gouging, and disgusting profit margins. If all the media can do is tell us to stop whining, because people elsewhere have it worse, then they are of little value to us, and ought to be ignored....

I remember when the media, stood for something good and noble....
