I am just busy fixing the one I have.  I had to make two tiny springs from a
larger diameter one, spinning it onto a 2mm size drill shank, about 5mm
long.  As long as the motor is still working, the unit can be brought back
to life.  And cleaning the inside of the unit and use some fine sandpaper to
the contacts and putting some dialectric grease to the areas of contacts.
If you guys send your units, I can fix them.  Takes some time though.
