Subject: Ideas for adding water outlets to Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I'm trying to add two more outlets for water in the Westy- one inside and one outside. I use water outside a lot, and it would be more convenient for me to have water available from the stock tank without raising the sink/stove cover.

I was thinking of tapping into the drain cap for the water tank, and addign a hose with a shut-off on the end, and routing it over by the sliding door, using gravity to feed it. It would give me water for cooking and washing outside the van.

I was also thinking of adding a siphon pump hose, tapped into the sink supply, or directly off the tank, and storing it between the driver's seat and the kitchen unit. It would give me water inside without having to raise the cover of the sink.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks, Ed in CT
