Hi Ed, I saw this post a few days ago, so it did make it originally. Maybe no one responded because you didn't do the One Key Thing that I always do to assure quick and plentiful responses: sound like a nincompoop.

Anyway, I don't have a need for outside water, but I have some 3/8'' hose and a three-way valve with 3/8'' hose barbs (usplastics.com) on it and thought that if I wanted to be able to squirt water, I'd probably cut the water line under the sink and put this valve on there. Maybe some quick disconnects so I could snap on and off a length of this tubing. Flip the valve and turn on the tank pump. A small boy could be used for the latter, by turning on the sink valve. Or a second switch to set the pump on.

I would probably not punch new holes in the tank nor add complexity to the drain cap for fear of snagging it and coming to camp only to find an empty tank and a busted drain cap or tank.

A fellow could also rig up a submersible pump on some hose and just drop it into the tank. Run a wire with a plug to the cigarette lighter. LVM seems to make a good selection of pumps
