Well I hate to say it, but I buy Japanese cars when I want to get serious.
Our local VW dealer in Nanaimo is a creep. I once took a car in to trade in
on a VW Fox and he laughed when he looked at the car, and just walked away.
No explanation, no small talk etc, just went back into the show room. Talk
about ignorant.
I drive a Mazda 3 and the dealer replaced my headlight when it burnt out,
even though I was going to buy one from the parts dept. He said no problem,
and then had the lot boy wash the car for me. Now that's service. I drive
old VW's because I love the memories they evoke. I DON"T drive them because
I like VWOC. Look at the way they went after everybody for copyright
infringement. Killing flies with a sledgehammer. The corporate company is a
bunch of lowlifes.
