To help level Mellow Yellow, I carry a set of these Lego-type RV leveling blocks ( http://www.campingworld.com/browse/products/index.cfm?prodID=4155&src=SRQB ), which work just fine when moderate lift of a wheel or two is needed. This last week, though, I needed to raise the lowest wheel about 8'', which is more lift than one of these kits provides (it would take a lot of these blocks, stacked pyramid-fashion, to build up a suitable ramp). My dad used to carry a random collection of 2x6 and 4x4 chunks of lumber, which didn't pack well and took up a lot of space, but he had an RV with external storage compartments for stuff like that.
