There was a recent post in which a listee put a mag wheel type bolt-on Schrader valve in the top of the expansion tank to allow for release of trapped air which I thought you could use for rough & ready pressure testing. Really clever, I thought. Just checked my archives. Pascal Giasson had an even better idea for a more sophisticated tester from hardware store parts and he was kind enough to send me pix & instructions. If you want them, I'd be happy to pass them on.
