The easiest way to remove it with grease and a M14 bolt. Basically pack as much grease into the pilot bearing cavity as possible and then find a bolt that just fits into the pilot bearing. Next, find a BFH (Big _ing Hammer) and give the bolt a whack. The hydraulic action will remove the pilot bearing in a few good smacks.
