David, What a nightmare. I feel your pain brother.

I have never purchased a car from them but the folks at Flow VW in Winston-Salem have always been friendly and above board with me. On one occasion the parts manger pulled some strings with VW Canada and VW Germany to get body panels and parts to fix my 86 crewcab. On another occasion the Service manager lent me a special tool so I could fix the transmission.

Maybe there's another dealer you could try.
