Subject: Anybody at VW SuperJam XX Today, etc. ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Did anybody go to the VW SuperJam XX today at Maple Grove Raceway? I went early with my 3 year old daughter was rather un-impressed with the early turnout. You can see the modest bus turnout in the show section at http://www.feddishbasses.com/vw/VWSuperJam.html . I was half tempted to enter my own van. It seems that by judging by the quality of the early entries I should have entered my van because 1) I'd get a better parking space for the entire show, 2) I could set up a picnic table and 3) I would probably walk away with 2nd or 3rd place and not even have to wash the van prior to entering. Here's the lineup when I got there: http://www.feddishbasses.com/vw/VWSuperJam.html .

Anyway, a little later some late model loafs and some Vanagons arrived that were pretty nice. I hope other nice ones arrived after I left. I did meet a gentleman named Paul Dukehart who had 2 nice vans to show, a Westy and a Syncro van, the latter being Subaru powered. He says he does Subaru Vanagon conversions out in York, PA. Anybody know him?

BTW, there was an automatic Doka in the parking lot. Cool..

Bryan
