BTDT, remove the seat completely. You will thank yourself later. Jerry

Most of the time I appreciate German design but it seems the swivel seat prevents the aux battery from fitting in - it is just shy a 1/4 or 1/8 of an inch or so....

Any tricks to pass along or do I have to remove the chair base??

Thanks!
