FWIW ... The radiators on my '84 7 pass and my '85 Westy came with M8
bolts with a trench down one side (except near the head).  I lost the
one on my '84 and replaced it with a regular M8 bolt.  Later, for ease
of bleeding, I cut a trench in the side of the bolt.
