Subject:      Fitting the battery into the Westy box

Although a battery handle is available, the method used here to lower a battery into the underseat box is to put an old belt around and under the battery using it like a handle and just lower it into the box. Then withdraw the belt.

Somewhere I saw that the Odyyseyy 1200 Dry Cell battery fits under the drivers side (Westy89 here) but the price is pretty high, around $180 plus.
