I recently did this project and used a product (ACE Hardware bout $7) called DuPont Teflon Multi-Use Dry, Wax Lubricant. Sounds similar, spray it on, let dry, leaves a waxy coating. And they claim it has a patented self-cleaning technology that sheds dirt, etc. etc. And there is always BoeShield, more expensive, but I have only seen it on-line. Jerry
