I may be "preaching to the choir" here, but today I called them, looking for a replacement motor mount for my 84 with an inline four transplant motor and a diesel tranny.  I did not do the swap myself, so I am kinda clueless about what is what with all the pieces/parts..
  I had an odd noise that someone else with a Tiico suggested sounded (as I described it yesterday to the list) like what he heard and finally diagnosed (in his inline four) as a faulty motor mount..So, I got out my dental mirror and closely inspected my mounts and found some small cracks and "tears"..So..New mount...(one side looked like it'd been replaced recently)

  So, I go online and look in Ron's catalog, but find no pics that look like what I saw under MY van..So, I call, looking for guidance..I get a nice guy named Rick, who spends about 20 mins with me as we go through all the options....I describe it to him, and he spots one on some expanded drawing he has...finds a part number and does a search using that number on his own site...Eureka!  We found it..An 83 diesel standard motor mount...He calls VW to check to see if they still have em and calls me right back..pricey, but they say they can get it at VW...

  Outstanding customer service!  The Bus Depot rocks!  Thanks Rick (and Ron) Many vendors would have just blown me right off..
 ....guess I should really wait till VW delivers..before I cheer..
