Subject: Desperately Seeking Linkage Parts (I4 conversion)

I'm looking for the shift linkage (i.e the front, center, and rear shift rods and all associated bushings and clamps) from an aircooled or diesel vanagon (80-83), 091 style transmission. I'd be happy to pay for them. Visited 6 Pick n' Pulls on Tuesday and found two aircooled vans, both automatics. Ugh. I need the linkage so I can take my I4 converted vanagon out for a first drive. I put an Audi 3A code engine in it, run with a Jetronic fuel injection system (with an air mass meter) following the designs, advice and posts of Frank Grunthaner. The van recently arose from surgery like Frankenstien's monster, and I need to get it on the road before it demands a mate. If you have parts please pmail me at bungeegull@hotmail.com. Thanks, and thanks to the listmembers for past help and support.
