I just purchased a set of power mirrors and the one glass is losing its silver around the edges. I would like to replace the glass. I have the mirror out of the housing and took it to a glass place to have it done. The guy told me he didn't want to try and take the glass out for fear of breaking the backer plate. Anybody have any clue on how to do this or where i can get the backer plate with the glass in it. I thought of going to VOA to price a new one but don't think i could take the price quote. If it's even available. Does anybody have one that might have the housing broken but the glass and backer is still in tact. |
