yes when batteries charging from engine, and when in sunlight, maybe from solar panel(s). This would make sense as fan would certainly be running in hot (likely sunny) conditions.

One note about this idea that has occurred to me.

If there was ever an LP leak at tank/reg/valve etc. that gas would be drawn into van as cooling fan would be on sucking air from area near LP tank. Even if PVC or somesuch were run from further away (toward rear of vehicle) this would still be a potential problem.

Fair thee warned if anyone else is crazy enough to try this before I do.
