Well, Mark I thought I had it fixed. Now it's back. Removed # 43 and it still blinks! so not in the collant level side. Now what, new voltage regulator? new guage? Any way to test these things?

  The resistor that is in that ground circut was pretty hot, but i'm assuming that the insessant blinking light could cause this. Any thoughts?

Sometimes it can be hard to locate the cause and the trick to tracking
it down is to eliminate possibilities before disassembling a bunch of stuff.
