.....not to mention the hassle of fishing those speaker wires through
that same tube as the rear wiper motor power gets there.  I can't
comment on the weight issue, but new rear hatch struts ought to
support theweight of 2 6x9's and yes, they won't sound worth a crap
from that far back.
