Subject: Re: Help Needed -- replacing fuel pump -- no gas flow

My '84 has exactly the conditions you describe, and I defer to Dennis on the cause of it. However, one mechanic told me there was a way to reverse the fuel and return lines to get past this, I guess by reversing the flow of gas. I've never pulled the tank nor have any desire to so I don't know. Anyone care to comment on reversing the lines?
