I have used and recieved 100 + lb boxes of transmission and parts for years from each of the "Big 3" ..I find its more the individual driver than anything else when it comes to good service and actually getting a package...My local guys go out of their way for me as a business and I always get my stuff. A container of red licorice or a Mocha for bribery helps too. Have had damage from ALL of them...DHL has been best so far...Luck ?? who knows. When someting gets really damaged, Its usually at a hub where they drop/push/kick the heavy stuff around and off the belts...Mostly back east is the worst, but it happens to all of them everywhere (Just ask Tom Sinclair)...The weakest links and all...On the west coast, a box will make it to destination and back and still be in good enuf shape to use again if I dared...back east and back?? Ferget it.
