Then you weren't listening to what he was saying. What he is saying is that he is going to reduce the PROJECTED GROWTH in the use of oil over the next ten years by 20%. That's a LOT different than reducing the amount we're using now by 20%. You got the sound bite, not the details of the plan. He's actual saying that we will be using more gas in 10 years than now, and making it sound like he means we'll be using less gas.

This fact was on the radar screens of the major news outlets for, oh, say, a day. Sad for us.
