nah. if you have a garage!!!! it's a good investment. there are loads of things that can be done with air compressors, not the least of which is spray painting (oh, awright ... so you need a spray gun. big deal!). :) but even for just airing up tires on cars, buses, lawnmowers, and such, it's worth it ... it's one of those tools that, after you've had it, you wonder how you got along without it all those years. :)
