All that is well and good, but I know it would be a disaster if I tried it, even if I checked for leakage currents to make sure that I wouldn't fry myself. You see, I just know that some day I'd forget to disconnect the output of the inverter from the little "grid" in the van before connecting shore power. Bzzzzzt. Smell of fried electronic bits. Hasty grab for fire extinguisher. Cursing to follow.
