Sorbothane is a solid material, not sprayed on.  It is used primarily for
vibration damping.  When I mount  the Norcold I'll use pieces of it where
the 'fridge comes in contact with anything so that the vibrations from the
compressor will be isolated from the cabinets.  This should minimize noise.
