The Dometic 182 does not use Freon, it is an ammonia based system.  And as
far as I know it's not rechargeable.
There is a lot of info in the archives on 'fixing' the Dometic.
BTW, keep in mind that when running on 110 the thermostat works just ike on
the propane.
