I guess that's something to check, since the word is that a decent shop can do a decent job with normal balancing machines...I didn't do a round or straight check on my Van wheels, though I just built up some very nice carbon fiber bicycle wheels, and got them real round and straight... Heck the wheels are only 23 years old, they should still be straight and true..hee hee. I will check.. Don Hanson

Thanks for all the answers today everyone. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jake de Villiers To: Don Hanson Cc: vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com Sent: Thursday, June 14, 2007 8:26 PM Subject: Re: Wheel balancing

The local tire shop does a great job on mine, steel wheels and alloys alike.

Are your wheels round and straight?
