If the flue vent is the piece I'm thinking of, it might stick out too much for this...having said that, how about one of those magnetic sheets that people get car door signs made out of? Make it big enough to stick to the van body around the flue vent. Get the kind with a white surface and it might even reflect the light fairly well. One problem is that this stuff is relatively thick and you might end up with unsightly wrinkles in it. Also, if you leave it on too long, it tends to trap dirt and gunk between itself and the body panels. Maybe it's "a part of this nutritious breakfast" rather than a meal in itself.
