Frank, You just do not realize how anal rententive I can be when working on my van. Sure, that includes opening and restoring the vapor barrier. One minute of a hairdryer gets that gummy stuff soft enough to allow banana peeling ease. For those who accidentally rip the plastic in the process, I've seen repairs with packing tape or duct tape that lasted for years until I opened them up again. For the record, I currently have 6 spare pairs of mirrors that I removed myself.=)
