I guess it's one of those six one way, half dozen the other. The first time I fished the wires out the mirror it took me almost 15 minutes, now it takes about 3 (after determining the secret is to use a pick-tool). Less than pulling the door panel in my opinion. One negative with the outside only method is that the wires dangle from the mirror hole. Not cool if you need to drive the van while the mirrors are off being painted. but hey, do whatever works for you... |
