Keep a spare and test it regularly. Dennis -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Jim Felder Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 8:32 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Gurgling after shutoff SOLVED Dennis Haynes was right on the money suggesting that I replace the reservoir cap. Ten dollars, two minutes, and the gurgling has stopped, at least from a single afternoon test drive evidence. I believe it will stay stopped. The old cap, while it looked nice and everything, blew through like a culvert. No valving going on in either direction. Jim |
