Anyone have any suggestions where to install an oil temp sender on this engine? Volkscafe says, "On the WBX (1986 and later), there are two sending units, one for lower RPMs (below 2,000), and one for higher RPMs (above 2,000)." http://volkscafe.com/vanagonparts.jsp?pa=ip&ip=1401786957 But this is an 84 WBX with just the one sender port above the tin between cylinders #3 & #4. Bus Boys has us putting a sender into the drain plug hole. http://www.bus-boys.com/bbvdo.htm#tempoil Wires dangling under the engine are worrisome, to me.
