Applying reflective film to the windows can be viewed as simply tarting up the van, but since it reflects heat along with the visible light, it performs a valuable function. I doubt that 100% reflective is legal anywhere. 100% reflective means that no light is transmitted through it, making it as easy to see through as aluminum foil. Mellow Yellow got 20% metal (reflective) on everything aft of the driver and passenger door windows. This means that it reflects 80% of the light, letting the other 20% through. It looks like a darkish mirror from the outside. Can see myself in it.
