Mrs Squirrel and I use an abacus to keep track of how many times we each bonk our heads on something while in the Westy. I can't imagine how frequently I'd bonk my head if I was 8'' taller. Also, both being small people, we fit neatly on the lower bunk. Also, the driver's seat in my 84 is already too close to the pedals IMHO. If my legs were longer I'd feel more than a little cramped. So not being able to reach that knob is pretty trivial when compared with the mighty problems which burden the taller folk. There's nosebleeds, too. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer.
