Some folks pick up combative and argumentative styles of online
interaction from fora which don't have as much communal sense as the
Vanagon forum. Such people are more interested in winning arguments
which leads to divisiveness and a lot of ill will. They are also tedious
because constant bickering is tedious and it gives me a headache /right
here/.
If someone's posts tend to spiral into flamewars, best not to engage
with them -- or just automatically delete their emails w/o reading them.
