RE: Fridge Fan Replacement In the archives you will probably find a post that lists the Radio Shack part number for a small DC motor that is a direct replacement for the original. I don't advise using it. It is a little bigger and not a great fit and it is also VERY noisey. A number of people have replaced the original with something like GoWesty sells: *http://tinyurl.com/27v7n4 *Just make sure it is blowing up to get the best air circulation. Another (and highly touted) change is to get rid of the shore water inlet and place a fan there to actually push the heated air behind the 'fridge out of the van. Very good results have been reported with this. I did this (and easy mod) but can't provide any reports because I never got the propane cooling working right in the process.* * |
