GOTTA throw in my 3c worth...bought a '74 X19 - the year they first came out, a seriously dumb move but the s.o. wanted to grab back some of her wasted youth - so 30+ years down the road & many other cars having come & gone, to this day the fun little Fiat (street legal go cart!!) was the most trouble free vehicle I've ever owned...only things close were various motorcycles. Must have been a true Wednesday car. Austin Walt Spak <b20swalt@CITY-NET.COM> wrote: Ken, I just have to put my 2 cents in. Here is a guy (Joe), who drives & works on Vanagons calling a Fiat junk. Does anyone else see the humor in this? Once you get that Fiat dialed in, it will be 10 times more reliable than a Vanagon. Walt Spak, who just purchased his 19th Vanagon.
