>> End of Suburbia is excellent as well It really made me think about my use of oil. I love my van but I love riding my bike to work all week even better. <<
I have enough stuff in life to worry about let alone watching stuff meant to scare me. Humans are very adaptable. If the gas supply was cut off tomorrow, sure that would be disasterous, but we would find other ways to make up for our loss. Electric cars, Ethanol, even a steam engine run off garbage (OK, I made that one up). I don't care what it is but we'd have to do it. If it's a choice between electrifying our cars or selling our worthless suburban homes for nothing to clamor into a city space that's already filled up, I'm going to bet my money on the first one.
