About two years ago the front of Fun Bus got into a fight with a 2001 Honda Civic. The Civic had to be dragged away since the rear wheels could not turn with the bumper and rear fenders pushed into them. The rear glass shattered and landed in the rear seat as the trunk lid went through it. I am still driving the Fun Bus. I guess it helped that the Fun Bus had the tow brackets for pulling it behind the motor home but somehow it put up a good fight only needing a lower grill, the turn signal lights, and the small dent is still there. I hate to think what a real vehicle could have done to that Civic. I think I'll spend another $15/week to drive my Benz to work.

Yes my friend, what's wrong with the US (and Canada soon), well, you elected a oil oriented president, a scary one if i may add... i also watch the movie about the EV-1, how GM killed (or Bush gov.) is own genious project.

If you need a small compact car, come here in Montreal, that is all we have in our street. TDI, Civic Hybrid, Mercedes Smart, Prius, Yaris... and so on.

When i travel in North America, city like Houston as an example, i'm amaze of how big are the vehicle????

Think Big, Big is beautiful, big is better...

I can not believe what you just wrote about that 6000$ tax rebate, this is simply madness.

I had an argument with a Type2 list member last year, of course... in a case of an accident, he was telling me that his BIG Suv would detroy my Civic, and he and his family would be safe and me dead... but a Hummer would destroy his SUV, so he was thinking of buying a bigger one (that the short version of that story), i was ask to stop that thread of leave the list, i left the list.

All empire go down one day.

Ben
