Old hat, been discussed to death. The VW-Vanagon approved cupholder is a roll of Duct Tape, Ducktape, Gaffers tape, Gun Tape placed strategically wherever you want it. Holds the cup pretty well, holds the tape really well. If you put the cup on the floor in the approved holder it stays quite well. AND you have instant emergency repair materials one cup away.

There is, of course, the universal Octopus (sy) cup holder thing. Works for all sizes of cups, cans moderately short longnecks, movable, easily cleaned, works fine lasts a long time won't peel, chip, crack,or warp, do not use in direct sunshine.

Costco has BFG and Michelin tires/tyres on sale through 1JUL07. What kind of tires do you use?
