What...a Concert Tuba or a Sousaphone? Forty years ago I did carry either one when I rode a bike to high school (about two miles). Naturally, the Sousaphone was easier to carry (it was fiberglass too). OTOH, the Concert Tuba was a b*tch, but I had a custom carrier built onto the bike thanks to my ever handy father (rip). Oh to have a digital camera back then for those photo ops! :-} -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On 6/26/07, mordo <helmut.blong@gmail.com> wrote: > > > (Although not for everyone. i.e. I carry musical instruments.... > > sometimes a *TUBA*.... to work) > > > > > What? you can't carry that on your back while riding a bike? > > > ;] > > -- > mordo > 1990 Carat
