Bryan,

That was probably me. I used X-treme Tape (brand name) silicone tape. It's pretty easy to find.

Just as an update, last month (still running with my repaired plastic H-connector), I suffered a loss of coolant. Of course I figured that the H-connector had split further (after all it'd been about four months) but what happened was I had broken one of the plastic clips on the firewall that holds the rubber hoses up. The hose fell onto the exhaust manifold and ruptured. The repaired H-connector never leaked, but I replaced it anyway, and will carry it as a spare. I'm still in the process of hammering out some copper pipes to replace the rubber hoses with (yes, I have a penchant for doing things the hard way!) : )

A while back someone posted a link to some emergency tape you can carry for patching coolant tubes. I can't find it in the archives. Anybody have a link for that?

Thanks, Bryan
