Hey Rocky,

I fixed mine with a piece of aluminum that came from a Tru Value hardware. They have various pieces of bar stock of metal. I had some kickin around my shop left over from my racecar for use building brackets and stuff. I used like 1/2" x 1/8" thick and just put it straight across the centers of both burners with a "hook" bent into the ends. So, you just hook one end over the existing wire grill and flex the other hook down till it 'clamps itself" down on the other end of the grill. No rattles when you drive, holds up my one cup expresso cooker and my dorky oatmeal pan and other smaller pots. You can 'un-pry' it if it bothers you or gets dirty...I think that whole 3' long piece of aluminum stock was a couple of bucks.. Don Hanson
