I live way out here in the dirt in SoCal (1.5 hrs from the nearest 'city' of any size) and I can get diesel at probably 7 different gas stations in town. This place is full of those 'super-duty' pickups with the diesels in 'em- and yeah, they're actually being used for work. When you consider those, the fleets of heavy trucks the utility and construction companies use, the trains and the semis, there's a whole lot of diesel use going on already and those things aren't going to go away. So yeah, something's hinky when a guy can't get a 'clean diesel' for personal use here. A few years ago the U.S. Supreme court knocked down the CARB ban on diesels saying they didn't have the legal authority to do that, but I didn't follow it after that. Anybody know what happened there?

Cya, Robert
